We are in a unique and exciting position to impact the entire customer journey but we depend on scalable technical infrastructure, tools, and seamless localized user experience to achieve our global goals.

For our engineering team, this translates to three main areas of responsibility:

  • Language Data governance, I18N Compliance, and Testing

About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile and experienced Fullstack Engineer to join our Localization team. This isn’t your typical localization gig — we’re building the systems, tools, and features that power seamless global experiences at scale. From backend services and frontend interfaces to internal platforms and developer tools, you’ll work across the tech stack and multiple programming languages to solve complex problems.

This role is perfect for you if you are a proactive and user-oriented engineer who loves tackling technical challenges and is excited about building the foundation that makes internationalization and localization fast, efficient, and future-proof.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack solutions across backend services, frontend packages, internal tools, and user-facing Miro features
  • Work with a wide range of technologies and languages to solve technical and product challenges
  • Collaborate across functions and teams to design and deliver scalable systems that enable high-quality global user experiences
  • Improve and evolve our localization infrastructure and tooling
  • Contribute to architecture decisions and code standards across projects
  • Prototype and ship innovative features that streamline localization workflows and user experience
  • Own projects end-to-end, from research, through planning, deployment, and maintenance

What you’ll need

  •  Solid experience with full-stack development (e.g., TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Go, or similar)
  • A strong grasp of backend fundamentals: APIs, microservices, databases, caching, scalability, 3rd party integrations
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks and modern UI development practices
  • Ability to work across and quickly adapt to different tech stacks and languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset, building scalable and maintainable systems that solve real-world challenges
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude
  • Experience working with localization tools, infrastructure, or developer productivity is a plus

What's in it for you

  • Competitive equity package
  • Medical insurance coverage
  • Lunch, snacks and drinks provided in the office
  • Wellbeing benefit and WFH equipment allowance
  • Annual learning and development allowance to grow your skills and career
  • Travel allowance for your commute
  • Opportunity to work for a globally diverse team
  • Inspiring workplace in the heart of Amsterdam
